Answer
There are three HSCNI Trusts which have an application process in place to allocate car parking passes at hospital sites; Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT); South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEHSCT) and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT).
The number of successful and unsuccessful applications over the last 12 months, by hospital site, as advised by respective Trust organisations is as follows:-
| HSC Trust | Hospital Site | Successful | Unsuccessful |
| SHSCT | Craigavon Daisy Hill | 7 2 | 0 11 (1) |
| SEHSCT | Ards Ulster Lagan Valley | 90 702 185 | 47 330 82 |
| BHSCT | Belfast City Royal Victoria | 1515(2) 1547 | 225 (2) n/a (3) |
Notes:-
SHSCT applications are processed on a first come basis and unsuccessful applicants are added to a waiting list until a space becomes available.
Belfast City application numbers are an average based total numbers processed from 2022 to date (3579).
Belfast Royal Victoria Hospital launched its new application process in March 2024 and have to date received 4100 applications. These applications are being worked through and 1547 applicants have received an approved outcome so far.
