Answer
As a large-scale operational delivery area, collecting over £1.5 billion rates, intelligent automation is widely used in rate collection activities for processes such as filling in forms, issuing correspondence and workflow management.
In considering the use of Artificial Intelligence, Land and Property Services adheres to the General Data Protection Regulations on the use of Generative AI. These regulations protect the rights of individuals not to be subject to solely automated decisions, including profiling, that have a legal or similarly significant effect on them.
