Early in this mandate, I engaged with the Department of Finance for Northern Ireland and the Department for Work and Pensions to begin preliminary scoping work with regards to extending bereavement services in Northern Ireland.
I am supportive of this service and welcome its introduction to Northern Ireland. It would be for the Finance Minister to bring forward the legislation required.
