To ask the Minister for the Economy, given the significant impact that our school system has on skills development, to detail any engagement she has had with businesses on the forthcoming changes to the Northern Ireland curriculum, being brought forward by the Minister of Education.

I have not had direct engagement with businesses specifically on the forthcoming changes to the curriculum being brought forward by the Education Minister.

Officials in my Department are continuing to work closely with counterparts in the Department of Education through established 14–19 structures to understand the implications for skills development, including the interface with businesses as this work progresses.
