Answer
I can advise that legislation to create new waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) along Collingwood Avenue was advertised in the local press on 17 August 2022. There were no objections to the proposal and therefore the Department is hopeful that an Order will be made in the coming months to allow the restrictions to be marked on the ground.
In addition, the Department’s Parking Enforcement Unit will arrange for additional patrols to be carried out in the Collingwood area. Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) will be issued to any vehicle found to be parked in contravention of the existing waiting restrictions.
