To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what plans he has to improve the enforcement of double yellow lines on (i) Colenso Parade; and (ii) Sandhurst Drive, South Belfast.

The Stranmillis area including Colenso Parade and Sandhurst Drive is currently scheduled as part of a routine enforcement patrol, Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 18:00. As a result of requests from residents, this area is also randomly patrolled in the evenings.
In February 2024, in an attempt to change changing behaviour, my Department collaborated with the PSNI in a joint parking enforcement operation in the Stranmillis area, specifically Colenso Parade and Sandhurst Drive.
Enforcement patrols are specifically developed for each area and reviewed every six months to confirm they remain proportionate and address the needs of the area. Requests for additional enforcement can be made to the following email address Roads.Parking@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk
