Answer
My Department has not instructed the removal of cycling infrastructure from Upper Arthur Street, Belfast. The cycling wands in Upper Arthur Street are however vulnerable to vehicle damage, particularly where vehicles drive over the wands causing them to split and fall apart.
Officials are currently liaising with our external contractor regarding the programming of works to reinstate the missing cycling infrastructure.
